Dr. Andrew Lumb

Andrew qualified in Leeds in 1979. Andrew's 25 years in general practice included entering Nottingham and Sheffield for a 2 year orthodontic clinical assistantship training program for GDP's. Following this, Andrew then spent several years as assistant to the consultant orthodontist at Nottingham. Andrew joined the practice in 2000 and became Principal in 2006.

Andrew is calibrated in the use of aesthetic and dental health components of IOTN and the Par Index. Andrew continues to build his clinical excellence attending courses and conferences across the globe.

Andrew is a member of the British Dental Association, The British Orthodontic Society and is an elected member of the Local Dental Committee.

Dr. Chhaya Patel

ASSOCIATE DENTIST

Chhaya qualified from Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry, London in December 1987. After graduating, Chhaya began her career working at the teaching hospital at King's College, concentrating on restorative and surgical dentistry.

In the early 90’s, Chhaya developed a special interest in Orthodontics and went on to work in the orthodontic department of Bedford and St Albans hospitals for a number of years. In 2007, Chhaya embarked upon a postgraduate course at Warwick University where, in July 2011, she obtained her MSc in Orthodontics. The course enabled Chhaya to further enhance her professional development at Masters level and gain specific expertise in the field of Orthodontics. Chhaya is currently an academic visitor at Warwick University.

To remain at the forefront of designer smiles, Chhaya has travelled as far afield as Australia and North America to ensure clinical excellence, offering her patients the latest treatments and outstanding care. With detailed explanations and thorough treatment planning, patients can reach their goals.

Chhaya is calibrated in the use of aesthetic and dental health components of IOTN and the Par Index.

Miranda

PRACTICE MANAGER
DPM BTEC DIPLOMA (DISTINCTION)

Miranda holds qualifications in Dental Nursing, Radiography, Oral Health Education, and Practice Management and is currently studying for the Orthodontic Nursing qualification. Miranda brings a wealth of experience to Melton Orthodontics, having worked in the dental profession and industry for over 40 years.

In her spare time, Miranda loves singing, running, baking and is a keen gardener.

Jenny

QUALIFIED DENTAL NURSE

Jenny holds qualifications in Dental Nursing, Radiography, Orthodontic Nursing and Customer Service. Jenny has been with Melton Orthodontics for 9 years and is a highly experienced member of the team.

Leanne

QUALIFIED DENTAL NURSE

Leanne has qualifications in Dental Nursing and Radiography. Leanne has been with us at Melton Orthodontics for 7 years

In her spare time, Leanne enjoys spending time with her beautiful family, socialising, and swimming.

Phoebe

QUALIFIED DENTAL NURSE

GDC No: 222179

Phoebe has qualifications in Dental Nursing and Customer Service and is currently studying for her Radiography qualification. Phoebe joined us at Melton Orthodontics in November 2015.

In her spare time, Phoebe enjoys going to the gym, travelling, and socialising with friends.

Sian

QUALIFIED DENTAL NURSE

Sian joined us at Melton Orthodontics in November 2015 and achieved her Dental Nursing qualification in 2017.

Sian is a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer and is enjoying putting the Melton Orthodontics team through their paces!

In her spare time, Sian enjoys socialising with friends and going to the gym.
